What’s the use?

Terry Riley – You’re No Good was originally written for an art exhibition or something. To imagine this wall of sound hitting you 30 odd years ago must have been something quite spectacular. It’s a cut-up/tapeloop trickery of Harvey Averne – You’re No Good and is both strangely soothing and terrifying at the same time.

Oh hey, it’s the first of February. Here are a couple of Andrew Weatherall mixes that some folk might find otherwise difficult to track down. It’s two versions of Flowered Up – Weekender from the remix 12″. Part of this track can be heard in the outro of the mini film that accompanied Weekender’s original release.
